How to use the DATE_ADD() function in MySQL and MariaDB databases

In MySQL and MariaDB the DATE_ADD() function is used to add a specific number of days or other date units to a date. This allows date calculations to be performed and can be useful for tasks such as calculating future or past dates, generating date ranges, and performing date-based calculations in queries.
